Season 2 European Regional Final Winners for the PES LEAGUE ROAD TO CARDIFF Competition Confirmed!

Season 2 European Regional Final Winners for the PES LEAGUE ROAD TO CARDIFF Competition Confirmed!

Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. has confirmed the second four European PES LEAGUE players that have qualified and are now through to the Final of the PES LEAGUE ROAD TO CARDIFF competition.

The intense action of the competition took place last weekend at Liverpool FC’s iconic Anfield Stadium. Sixteen players had competed in the second European Regional Final to determine the next four players to win a place at the World Final, which will be held alongside the UEFA Champions League final in Cardiff, for a chance to win the $200,000 main prize. Fans were kept up to date with the drama as it unfolded through live streaming from PES League Facebook, YouTube and Twitch channels.

The PES LEAGUE ROAD TO CARDIFF competition officially kicked off in February as an accessible in-game mode in PES 2017 and the free-to-play PES 2017 Trial Edition. Players were able to track their PES League progress on PES 2017 online and the top performers across Europe secured their spots at the Regional Final. PES 2017 is available to purchase from all good retailers.

The four European players heading to Cardiff, each taking home prize money from the European Regional Final, are:

·      1ST place ($20,000 prize): Ettorito97

·      2nd place ($10,000 prize): El Matador

·      3rd place ($6,000 prize): TioMit_PW

·      4th place ($4,000 prize): ALexAlguacil

The winners join four other players from Europe who were triumphant at the Season One Regional Final at FC Barcelona’s Camp Nou, four from the Americas, two from Asia, and one representing the rest of world at the World Finals event in June alongside this year’s UEFA Champions League Final in Cardiff.
